Arpad was excellent to work with in the sale of our home. He understood and explained clearly the market situation and dynamics of selling. He explained things clearly at each step and provided us the final decision after talking through the different options. He frequently touched base and always let us know what to expect and what we needed to do. He was very friendly but clear with potential sellers and worked to get us a very strong offer. We were so fortunate to have found Arpad and Arpad proved that Service is more than Sales and again with his thorough knowledge of home construction and the local market. Every time we viewed a new property Arpad would perform a methodical inspection, looking for signs of problems and commenting on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. He is very responsive and worked with us very patiently several weekends and late nights and long phone calls. Arpad - is one of the rare best realtors in the bay.Wow! he made buying a house such a breeze . He is a walking encyclopedia who can explain anything and everything about a home purchase , banker or the board . He is phenomenal and I would always highly highly recommend him.
Thanks Arpad for being there and helping us throughout - This is our second home purchase with Arpad.

In short, he was always on our side working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Arpad was that he was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding homes that would meet our needs than he was on closing a deal. We have been working with Arpad for well over a year and he has been a great source of knowledge and guidance for us in the home buying process in this very hot market. He is very knowledgeable of the local market as he is a native of the market having being bough up here. He is very thorough and detail oriented and helped us analyzing as well as pricing right from a market point of view without letting us carried away by emotions and over bidding for houses. He kept us rational throughout the entire process. He is also very helpful in going over the disclosures and served as a great sound board for us, be it going over the issues in the disclosures as well as home improvement ideas etc. Never pressurized us into making offers. Wow! Made buying a house such a nice and pleasant experience! I was new to home buying, and had very little knowledge on the process and market situation. Arpad is simply the best. We are experienced home buyers and know the basics and the process from pervious purchase. However we learned a lot from Arpad on how to be data driven, how to evaluate the pros and cons of a listing and the overall attitude towards the process.

Arpad is very systematic and methodical and lays out the details needed to make a decision and steps back to give buyers the complete freedom on the actual decision. There is no pressure to close by a certain time. Since we had some specific requirements, it took us a while to find something that fit our needs. We have been looking for our new home for more than a year and Arpad was guiding us all along the way. We would send him our shortlisted properties and Arpad would discuss the pros and cons of a property with us. He was very responsive, accessible and would always make himself available. He would always give his expert opinion on a property and give us all the information so that we could make an informed decision. He never put pressure on us or coaxed us to buy a property just to make a transaction. He was very professional and we felt like we were taken care of. He knew all the processes between the start and end of a home buying process including areas outside his expertise. Arpad did an excellent job in my buying process in West San Jose Area. This was my first home and he guided us through the process in a very systematic manner and his feedback on every property was very valuable.
Based on the requirements we provided at the beginning he was able to give go/no-go for a property. On the property we bought he did a great job negotiating. He also guided us through the post offer closure process extremely well.

Arpad was the hands-down winner from the 100+ buyer's agents we considered from online profiles, and the 6 that we interviewed in person.
He expressed much more knowledge and details about the ups and particularly the downs to avoid when purchasing in our desired location.

We worked with him off and on for 3 years (we put our search on pause for about 1.5 years) to get our perfect home within a very restricted 16-block region, and he never once applied even the slightest pressure to buy. In fact, his approach was the exact opposite of pressure--he was conservative, and always counseled us in our own interests. He was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining every detail about home ownership, buying, selling, and construction that we had questions about. We were very impressed with his level of patience with us as first-time home-buying noobs. He also wasn't afraid to tell us where he disagreed, which was extremely helpful.

Arpad was always punctual to every meeting, is very detail-oriented, had a very good understanding of our needs, and is an extremely good listener. He was also extremely available, even on nights and weekends.
We felt we were always in conscientious hands, and well-taken-care-of.

Arpad saved us hundreds of thousands of dollars on our eventual purchase (our 3rd serious bid and 4th overall). Bidding in our area was getting into "crazy" numbers during a market pricing peak. We asked Arpad to provide guidance for bids that were serious but closer to the actual worth. We wound up with a single family home that had:
The lowest sale price of all our bids
The lowest repair/remodel price by (we think) $100K+
The best location for our daily activities

Finally, Arpad provided excellent guidance against purchasing a brand new condo complex that effectively 1) prevented us from showing the purchase contract to anyone except a lawyer after making our deposit 2) would have prevented us from bringing in a home inspector before closing. We're very grateful to have had someone read and interpret all that fine print for us. In retrospect, given the single-family home we wound up with at a relatively reasonable price, we are *extremely* glad we didn't purchase that condo.
