About Art
Art served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division, where he was taught many of the values he continues to live and work by today. His military service taught him the discipline and gave him the perseverance to build and maintain a successful real estate business. His incredible work ethic, considered to be his greatest personal motivator, drives him to treat clients and colleagues alike with honesty, respect, and diplomacy. Advice he received early in his military career was to always choose the hard right over the easy wrong. That advice impacted him then and he lives and works by it even today.
With a professional background as a regional sales manager in the mortgage industry, he places a high value on helping people understand the complexities of a real estate transaction. His experience allows him to be an expert negotiator, always in pursuit of the best outcome for clients. He will always take your call or respond to your messages with urgency. He is there when you need him. his fearless commitment to excellence drives him professionally as he continues to receive accolades from his peers, but more importantly, praise and gratitude from his loyal clients who are the foundation of his business.
An avid adventurist, his pastimes include mountain biking and dirt biking. He is on the Board of Directors of Austin Ridge Riders where he organizes and lead local group rides. He is also a sports bike enthusiast having both ridden competitively and instructed on closed tracks. Art had the honor of being the first amateur to ride the Circuit of the Americas racetrack. He is the General Manager of Mentors for 3:16 Track Days organization where he assembles teams of mentors who pair with local and regional track participants providing critical instruction and oversight. He and his wife Caryl met 30 years ago in a bowling center and are competitive bowlers each having bowled 300 games. They live in Austin with their two German Shepherds, Ruger and Remington. He is “Dad” to four adult children and “PaPa” to five grandchildren.
