Last year we worked with Jen and her team to find our new house and sell our starter home! Before we started to look, Jen and Ashley came to our house with a very useful book about the current market and suggestions on what to do so WE got top dollar when selling our house. (Our house sold in less than four days thanks to their suggestions!)

My husband and I just settled on our new home that we found working with the Horak Realty Group - we specifically worked with Whitney Rodgers and she was wonderful! Our son had previously used the Horak Group and raved about how helpful, professional and genuinely nice they were so we called them when we decided to move from northern Virginia to Williamsburg.
Right from the start Whitney was on it! She communicated with us to find what we were looking for, she found homes and communities that fit our “want” list and she made helpful suggestions while listening to our reactions and thoughts on what she showed us. We found our perfect home very quickly! As it was new construction it was months before we settled but Whitney stayed on top of the whole process and she even did our pre-drywall walkthrough for us as we were unable to make it- she did a FaceTime call with us so we were able to be there‘virtually’. She really went above and beyond to make this process go as smoothly as it did.
Obviously I can’t say enough good things about the Horak Group and especially Whitney Rodgers- we were lucky to work with them!

We decided to sell our home while in Florida and “BAM!” Ashley and her group were on it. Knowing Ashley from the original buy of my home made it so smooth and easy to trust her professionalism to proceed with the sale prior to our return to Virginia. We electronically signed the papers from Florida and began the process of the sale. She guided us through it all with accessibility and kept the line of communication open during this transition along with she and her crew going in to stage our home prior to pictures and sale. They had an open house and in one week, we had 7 offers to choose from! She took time to meet us on short notice often to view homes during this frantic "sellers market". Her assistant Becky was great as well and helped us with the eventual home that we were fortunate to get. We found a home that was posted that same day and say it that night, they helped us put in an offer by the next day, and we won the bid by day three. Circumstances has led my husband and I to search for our first new house while he was away on deployment. We already liked the area that we were in but due to the size of our family, the school zone we wanted to remain in our current area. We also had a living preference, so our criteria was very specific for what we were looking for.
