Ashley McClary

Ashley grew up in Fabius, New York, near Syracuse, and studied health and information technology at Onondaga Community College. While in college, she worked her way through at the famous Dinosaur Bar-B-Que—as the hostess, on the stand up front with the microphone. She built her confidence on that stand, in front of a full restaurant, honing her skills in customer service, patience, and working as part of a team. “If only every restaurant could run like that,” says Ashley, who also learned about structure, orders of operation, planning ahead, and the necessity of adapting when things don’t go as planned.
