I tried to sell a home I had renovated last year and couldn't get it over the finish line with the last agent I worked with. I hired Athena this year because she is a hustler and I had heard good things about her team. My business is real estate investing so I have bought and sold many homes with many agents. Working with Athena was one of the best experiences I've ever had, hands down. We had the challenge of staging and selling the unit with the existing tenants still there, and after doing a walk-through, I really didn't think it could be done. She disagreed. She managed to politely work with the tenants so she could stage around them and found them a lovely mountain retreat so she could do an open house over an entire weekend. She told me she was determined to go under contract in the first weekend. Once again, my husband and I were very skeptical. We went under contract at ask in the first weekend! The process to close was fraught with surprises that were completely out of Athena's control, and she handled them all with grace and calm. Every time there was a problem, she had a slew of intros to make that made my life so much easier. Intros including a last-minute lawyer, electrician, roofer, gardener, and photoshop editor, all of which seemed to drop everything in order to help us meet our deadlines. She even offered to pay for some of the items that were frankly not her responsibility, including some extra electrical work, additional gardening to make the exterior shine, and a rent-back fee to the tenants. She also called in her roofer to inspect the roof and write a letter stating the roof was in great shape (which it was, but the inspector called it out anyway!). I know it's old school, but she also delivered small gifts to me throughout the experience that were so thoughtful and well-timed. I honestly don't feel like agents really do that anymore, and it's just a very nice extra bonus of working with Athena. But the most important part is that Athena gets the job done. She is capable, connected, tireless, and really good at what she does. Her team is amazing and I even ended up hiring her copywriter to help me with copy for some listings in Mexico. She was that good! In closing, I would highly recommend Athena and her team and I will be working with her on future projects. They are a cut above the rest. Period.

Athena is an absolute gem of a human and a truly amazing realtor. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the Colorado market's ups and downs and made this transaction (as well as others she's done with my family) so smooth and as stressless as possible. She never fails to be in touch, whether it's a small question or a problem that needs fixing.
I cannot recommend her highly enough if you're looking for an agent to help with your real estate needs!

In this insane market it's important to have a realtor who knows how to communicate, negotiate, get under contract and make it to the closing table and Athena is an expert at all of those things. Athena is one of the best realtors we have worked with. We were out of state buyers, first time buying in CO, and Athena showed all all the ropes. We had a very small window to see properties when we visited and she made sure to lay the ground work so we could literally hit the ground running. She was organized, thoughtful, honest, and knowledgeable about every neighborhood we asked about. Not only that, but 90 days post-purchase, she’s continued to be just as thoughtful, and has gone above and beyond to step in and help with construction projects while we are away. You do not meet many people, in any industry or walk of life, that have the intelligence, empathy, compassion, and creativity to provide an incredible experience at every step of the way.

Athena has known my wife and me for several years now and has spent the time to really understand what type of home we would want when we were ready to buy. We were not quite ready for the last few years. But in a very respectful way, throughout the years, she would re-connect with us to see how our process was coming along. Buying your first home is of course a very big deal, and she understands the right cadence and approach to make sure we felt as supported and comfortable as possible.

Last fall, we were finally ready to start seriously looking!!

Athena immediately started leveraging the incredible tech behind the Compass brand, as well as all her deep knowledge of the real estate industry and the Denver Market. She only showed us houses that fit our location, aesthetic, functional, and pricing requirements. She crushed this "house shopping" experience like no other. Almost every other agent I have encountered either falls flat in understanding our needs or pushes their own agenda on you. Not Athena! She is literally the best in all aspects... and has an incredible team backing her up.

We narrowed the search down to three spots that we LOVED. From there she put in the work on comps, market fluctuations, history of the house and/or building(s), and gave us everything we needed to make the right decision. She did this with grace, creativity, deep wisdom, and an awesome sense of humor.

We finally decided on a townhome in RiNo. Personally, I am self-employed which we all know can be an insane process and headache to get approved for a loan and go through the underwriting process. Again, Athena went above and beyond to find us the right lenders and work with us through every step of the process.

There are only five stars on this rating system, but I would give her 12 stars if I could.

Athena + team + compass technology = as good as it gets!!

There is never a true 5 Star review. I mean really can someone be perfect in all aspect of their business? Athena changed my mind on this one. She advocates more than any agent I have worked with, is responsive and always attentive to the transaction.

I would recommend interviewing Athena for the sole purpose of setting the bar high for the same commission you were going to pay your friend or relative with a real estate license. You can be the judge from there. :)

When my wife and I decided it was time to move our family back home to be near our parents, we were concerned with the logistics of finding a trusted realtor, moving 6000 sq ft of home furnishings, clothes, three kids under 5, three cars and finding a new home nearly 2,000 miles away. We were so relieved and lucky to have found Athena. She helped with ALL of these concerns and more.
