I have had a love for real estate my entire life. After raising my children (almost all of them), I had the opportunity to pursue this dream, and I took it. I have lived in and loved the Asheville area my whole life and have also raised 6 children here. Throughout the years, I have seen Asheville grow and change. As Asheville has had a journey of change, so have I. I have worked in sales, office management, mortgage services, and education. I have also built my own home (yes, with a nail gun and everything). As my life has changed, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that is beneficial to my career in the real estate industry.

I am a firm believer that real estate should have a Greater Purpose. What does that mean? Well, I believe real estate is about more than just buying and selling houses. It's about helping people forward their lives, whether they're going to a first home, a new job, a place to raise a family, a down-sized nest, a vacation retreat, or even going their separate ways. Serving clients in attaining their goals is an honor, not just a job.

Just as importantly, real estate should be about building communities and building UP our community, and I believe that everyone in every community deserves a safe and healthy home. Thus, a portion of all my commissions (and a significant amount of my time) are donated to affordable housing, food security, and domestic violence initiatives here in Western North Carolina.
