Audrey has been licensed in real estate since 1984 and offers clients a diverse market knowledge including luxury properties, historic homes and custom new home sales. She was born in New England and lived here many years before moving to the Midwest and than back home again. She is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. She and her husband reside in Bridgewater and she understands the influence of the New York market on successful Litchfield County sales as well as the unique experience small town life offers those who choose to live here.
She has earned the CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), LTG (Leadership Training Graduate), PSCS (Professional Standards Certified Specialist) and GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) in her commitment to education and keeping pace with an evolving industry. She has been active at the local, state and national level of Realtor® associations and the Women’s Council of Realtors®, serving on numerous committees and at the leadership level. She has worked in relocation with third party relocation companies and understands the process.
Her marketing strategy is to be proactive and take actions that will bring buyers and Realtors® to the property to accomplish a sale. She also has experience at the other side of the table as a transferee and understands the stress and necessary decisions in the relocation process. Her business philosophy, much like her life philosophy, is to: “Be honest… always be there personally for your client… and team up with only the best people in the industry.” I live by it…it’s what I stake my reputation on daily.”
When not pursuing real estate interests, Audrey is an active member of her community, having served as past President of the Bridgewater Historical Society. She regularly contributes articles to the quarterly newsletter on subjects of historical interest and has presented "living history" - acting as past residents to illustrate their lives and influence on the town. Audrey has a keen interest in local history and genealogy, effectively researching past Bridgewater residents to aid families searching for their ancestors as well as researching her own family genealogy. She has used this skill further to research the history of old homes that brings the past to life and underlines the stewardship and connection owners of older homes feel towards their properties. The pairing of her passion for history gives Audrey a unique perspective in her real estate career.
