About Ayaka
I moved to Oregon from Japan to marry my husband. Why did someone from Japan get involved with real estate in the Oregon? I was scared to buy my own home without understanding all there is to know about the market, transaction process, inspections, etc., which are all much different from their Japanese counterparts. Along my learning journey, I became very fond of the real estate process and learning more about it, and want to help others feel confident in their home purchase!
One of my biggest strengths is my team. I work with a transaction coordinator and my principal broker who has more than 30 years experience in this industry. Because we work as a team, we can do more than our best to make your transaction smooth! We work with a wide range of properties, from residential, bare land, farmland, and commercial buildings with our amazing business partners in lending, title companies, and inspectors.
Another strength is my dedication to clients. I strive to understand your needs and find the best ways to accommodate them.
Because I know first hand how challenging it can be to buy a home, I am so happy to assist you and make sure you have a clear idea about the process of buying a home to make your transaction more exciting and stress-free.
My background is working as a licensed tour guide in Japan for the last 10 years. I have guided mainly English-speaking clients all over Japan, focusing on 10-14 days tours. I always do my best to make them feel comfortable during our 2-week tours, which is key to a positive experience. This is my style of customer service. I believe this is very important for my clients in real estate as well. I will never give you pressure. I respect your feelings and decision because I really understand how big your decision to purchase a home is.
A few things about me.. I love to travel both domestically and internationally. My favorite trips have been to Sedona, Laos, Berlin and my very unforgettable time in India. I am a foodie and a history buff. I have a social studies teacher license for middle and high school students in Japan, and I was an exchange student at the University of Montana from 2013-2014. I studied Mandarin in Taiwan in 2018. I am currently taking a home inspector class to learn more about houses. I am good at making Gyoza dumplings. One thing I do not like about Oregon is black berry bushes.
It is my job and my wish to make your transaction more exciting, fun, and stress-free for you! If you have an interest in talking with me, please contact me. I am looking forward to the opportunity to get to know you and work with you!
