Barbara Harris

Barbara has been a life-long resident of Westchester; born and raised in Scarsdale, and a Bedford resident for many years. After having graduated from The American University, Barbara received her graduate degree from The University of Arizona. She also spent many years as a middle school teacher in Yonkers Public Schools.

Many years ago, Barbara began her real estate career, and have enjoyed great success. She has consistently been in the top 20% of all Westchester Realtors, and among the top tier agents within Houlihan Lawrence. She has been active in developing a Patient Navigation System at Northern Westchester Hospital's Cancer Center, and 3 term President of the
Bedford Dog Owners Group. There is great delight in working with buyers and sellers of any price range. Fellow Realtors know that working with insures the transaction closes. Most important is the transaction- and personality gets put aside. Other agents know that all parties will be treated fairly and honestly. Barbara takes pride in my follow-up, and attention to detail, providing exceptional service to both buyers and sellers.

Her community means a great deal to Barbara, and she enjoys helping with any activity. She has been a Cub-Scout leader, class mother, worked to develop a Patient Navigation System at the hospital, and have served as President of Bedford Dog Owners Group. Barbara has worked to develop and maintain the pre-eminent Westchester County Dog Park, and a consistent supporter of the Bedford Playhouse. Having a strong attachment to a community helps her buyer clients understand the value of living here, and lets sellers know she can represent them to the fullest.
