Raised in Southern Indiana Barbara received her BS, Business degree from Indiana University Southeast, and her MBA Masters Business Administration degree from Bellarmine University, Louisville, Ky. After graduation, Barbara worked for Joseph E. Seagram & Sons and Brown Foreman Corporation but soon followed her heart to open her own business. Her love of the land, the heritage of the region, and her passion for making a difference in the community confirmed her wanting to stay in the area and allowed her to follow the path to becoming a Realtor. Barbara is one of the original owners of Schuler Bauer Real Estate Services and has held the positions of President, CEO, and Principal Broker (Indiana and Kentucky) and Salesperson/Realtor. While every transaction is an achievement, Barbara is incredibly proud of her role in Schuler Bauer’s success in becoming the number one Real Estate company in Southern Indiana and third largest in Louisville Metro.
Barbara is grateful for her success and believes firmly in giving back. Known for her hard work, Barbara is a sought-after board member. Organizations such as the Southern Indiana Development Council, Metro United Way, and Past Chair, 2016 Global Indiana University Alumni Association are just a few of the groups to have benefited from her relentless energy and strong work ethic.
