Barbara Scanlon

Barbara Scanlon began practicing real estate in RI for 30+ years has been with RE/MAX since 1989. As a native Rhode Islander, she has a strong handle on all the features our wonderful “Ocean State” has to offer.

Barbara is a Magna Cum Laude of Rhode Island College and holds 6 national real estate designations.
Approximately only 5% of the Realtors nationally have attained these accreditations.
In her opinion her keys to longevity in a tough business are lots of patience and continuing education to stay abreast of new regulations, disclosures and market trends.

Throughout Barbara’s many years in the real estate industry her clients come from many sources but approximately 85% are referrals from past clients or repeat business from past clients themselves who want to move up or scale down. It is very rewarding to get a call from a “satisfied client” and renew the relationships with buyers and sellers that have been developed throughout the years.

Barbara is a member of Remax Hall of Fame and yearly award thru Board of Realtors. She is also a “Five Star Real Estate Professional” and Remax Lifetime Achievement Award-highest reward offered by Remax International.
