We bought a house in 2011, only to have to sell it 13 months later... and Barbara was our agent for both ends of the deal! To say that we recommend her is an understatement. To say that I'm particular is probably an understatement, as my wife tells me that I'm OCD in many areas. I had just returned from a deployment, wife and kids in another state, and I was in MD looking for a house. I have high expectations and expect people to actually do there jobs. She went above and beyond in everything. She was extremely nice and courteous, yet straightforward and to the point with us, while also protective of us and our interests as the buyers (and later as the sellers). She made the process easy while I worked long hours and we closed while my wife and I were in different states. After 75 plus houses through email and another 20 plus that we walked through, I honestly can't say a negative thing about Barbara. She is very professional, yet very friendly and has a warm personality. She's great to work with and her honesty and integrity are evident in how she conducts business. We've moved out of state, but we really wish we could've taken her with us! After living in 3 houses and dealing with many realtors in the area, I guarantee you that she is the best, and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with her service. Barbara helped my husband and I find a fantastic new home! She was very responsive to all our questions and concerns and would make sure to check in with us regularly even when we were still in the waiting phase. She was very knowledgeable about the process, we bought a short-sale, so she was great at helping us understand what was happening at every phase. She listened well and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. SHe showed us several houses and even convinced us to see some we didn't want to see, but ended up loving! She was also very honest and always made it clear to us when she was giving us advice and leaving the decision up to us. Barbara is very professional and we definitely felt like she did her best to help us find a great home within our budget.

My mother and I interviewed three local real estate agents to help with the sale of my mothers home. We chose Barbara because of the empathy and compassion she showed toward a 91 year old women selling her home and because of her obvious business acumen. It was difficult for Barbara. The house was in Maryland and we were 3,000 miles away in California. They was much that needed to be done to maintain the house and the surrounding acres. It was stressful and difficult. But Barbara remained helpful and supportive and consistent. she made the entire ordeal of selling a home while you are living in another state quite doable. In my dealings with several local Real Estate attorneys they unfailingly sang Barbara praises and reinforced how lucky we were to be working with her. Not sure we could have gotten thru this without Barbara and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
