About Barbi

Ever since she was a young girl, Barbi Schwartzberg learned the concepts of customer service, professionalism and sales expertise from her father, watching how he handled his customers and how much they appreciated their superior treatment. It is these same values and principles with which Barbi today conducts her real estate business; and it’s the same appreciation and loyalty she gets from customers and clients who are thrilled with their results.

After graduating Hofstra University with a BBA degree in 1988 she immediately entered the world of finance where she remained for over a decade, gaining an invaluable education on market trends, cycles, and spotting opportunity. Barbi rose to success as a prominent Equity Salestrader on Wall Street working for UBS where she was highly regarded. She then left Wall Street to raise her family, but when her youngest was in kindergarten full-time she was ready for more, so transferred her insight and eye for value to the world of real estate. It’s no surprise she had five deals in no time, while typically many agents have none going their first year in the business.

The fact that Barbi knows the markets so deeply and understands so well that a home is the biggest investment in one’s life, makes her clientele feel completely comfortable and confident in her abilities. Barbi prides herself on the honesty and integrity she brings to her relationships and is a true team player who’s never afraid to roll up her sleeves and do whatever it takes to make good things happen. Buyers can expect that she’ll go the distance listening to their needs, guiding them through their search, and negotiating on their behalf to secure the best home possible.

Outside of work, Barbi’s priority is her family. On a charitable note, Barbi devotes a lot of her personal time to the Autism community raising money and awareness since her younger daughter was diagnosed with the disorder in 2003. Barbi is also a go-to source for advice on Autism and special needs programs in the various school districts – which clients also dealing with this disorder frequently turn to her for. In addition, Barbi loves to travel and stay in shape, making exercise a part of her daily routine.
