Bard Wilmar, Sotheby’s, has earned my highest recommendation.

He is the best professional realtor I’ve ever worked with (over a lifetime of buying/selling homes, in which he has represented me on both ends -different occasions).

Bard is totally committed to his client.
He understands - anticipates- his client’s needs and goes out of his way to accommodate them.
He is prompt for appointments, maintains telephone communication continually and makes himself available at all times.

Real estate transactions involve numerous -and sometimes incomprehensible- documents that one must read and sign. It is crucial that one have an experienced and trustworthy realtor
to guide him/her through this process.

I attest fully to Bard’s integrity and competence.

Bard was awesome. First he helped us determine the status of the market. Then he helped up with staging our house, getting us inspections and setting an appropriate price. All within a few days.

Once on the market we got multiple offers and he helped us navigate counter offers. Bottom line we were able to get our price plus some and our close was fast and issue free.

Responsive, professional and a good guy too! We wholeheartedly recommend him.

It was a pleasure to work with Bard on finding a perfect place in Lake Tahoe. My husband and I were looking for a modern home in a convenient location in North Lake Tahoe. After looking for sometimes and some properties, it did not take long before Bard realized we know exactly what we want and could be hard to find one. Then, by some chance, a piece of land came on the market, we had Bard to go to check it out even we had not thought of buying a piece of land to build our home as we are from the Bay Area. We then went to look at it and fell in love in it dreaming of the potentials it has. It turned out that piece of property was not as straight forward as others and require quite a few investigations. Bard patiently guided us a long. He is patient, thoughtful, careful, meticulous and experienced. He understands and respect our needs, he listens to us while offering his professional opinions, He knew so much about north Tahoe real estate, its history and more importantly the vast network he has, The more we were in the matter, the more we realized how awesome and trustworthy he is. We heard about him from friend of a friend and felt very fortunate we crossed our path. He has made our transaction as smooth as possible. Thank you, Bard. I surely will recommend him to anyone who wants to buy a dream home.
