I've been in the real estate business for 36 years in The Woodlands and Spring area. For over 24 of those years I have been with RE/MAX, the leading real estate company in the world. I have also been in both the home building and the new home sales sides of the industry. I continually strive to keep learning, and educating myself with both the latest in technology and continuing education to keep my clients informed, and up to date with the ever-changing real estate market. Experience is the best teacher, and I can safely say that after 36 years, I have had a wealth of education. Because I understand how stressful and uncertain the home buying and selling process can be, I strive to put my clients at ease right from the start. A good sense of humor comes in very handy for this. I have first-hand knowledge in the humor department as well. My husband, Tommy Drake, is a professional comedian who has performed in all 50 states, on the Carnival fleet of cruise ships, and he opened 125 times for the ultimate performer, Cher, on her farewell tour.I grew up on a small farm in southern Illinois, so I enjoy going out to the country where I have some land and spend time with my menagerie of horses, cows, dogs, and chickens. You can't take the country out of the girl. I also enjoy sport fishing with my girlfriends, and have also fished for over 22 straight years in the Redfish Rodeo, all girl fishing tournament. With me, you get a little something extra. I enjoy life, travel, and nice wine, and I enjoy everything about the challenges of real estate.
