Ben Tamburello

Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Ben attended Shades Valley High School, graduating in 1982 and moved to Auburn to pursue his football career and a Bachelor of Science in Education. During his time at Auburn, he was recognized as two-time All SEC, two-time AllAmerican, and SEC Lineman of the Year. Selected in the third round of the 1987 NFL draft, Tamburello played 5 seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles. He earned the honor of being inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and was selected as a 2022 SEC Legend.

Ben's success in these areas came from his passion and work ethic: a passion he equally holds for the Birmingham community and service of others. He began his career in real estate in 2007 and was recognized as a member of the Chairman's club, Hall of Fame, and received the lifetime achievement award. He is diligent about assisting people in finding a home they can build their life in and making this process as streamlined and comfortable as possible.

Ben is a member of Church of the Highlands and currently chairs the board of the St. Vincent's Foundation which he has served on for nine years. He has been married to his wife Katy for 34 years, and they have felt blessed to call Birmingham their home as they raised their three children, Ben III , Anna, and Julia. Ben III is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Anna graduated from Appalachian State University, and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Auburn University. Julia is a freshman studying Communications at Auburn University.
