Bet is a fifth-generation native Texan and native Houstonian. She has owned a second home in Galveston since 2007 and fell in love with the island lifestyle, eventually making Galveston her primary residence making her an IBC (Island By Choice). With 18 years experience in West End Galveston real estate, she is passionate about Galveston real estate. 'Bet' was a nickname given to her by her dad and his friends. He would say, "You can Bet on her, just give her the ball and let her run." That spirit of determination and reliability defines her approach to real estate. She genuinely loves what she does and works tirelessly for her clients. Today, she lives, works, and plays in Galveston, embracing everything the island has to offer.
Growing up in a farming and ranching family, Bet developed a strong work ethic early on. With Galveston only an hour away, her family frequently visited, creating lasting memories. Bet feels equally at home in the city, on the beach in Galveston, and as a lady rancher in the countryside west of Houston. Her business spans the best neighborhoods of Galveston, while she also maintains a strong presence in Houston's premier areas including Tanglewood, Galleria, River Oaks, West U and Memorial. With many second-home and resort property owners in Galveston coming from Houston, it was a natural progression for her to assist clients in both locations. Since 2008, she has specialized in the Pirates communities of Laffite's Cove, Pirates Cove, Pirates Beach, and Pirates Beach West on the West End of Galveston.
Active in her church and community, Bet also serves on several Galveston boards. Over the years, she has built deep, lasting friendships with her clients and their families. Her business is multi-generational, often helping parents, grandparents, and children of the same family buy and sell homes within the same year. She goes above and beyond to ensure the real estate process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Bet consistently ranks as a GK Top Producer and has been recognized by Real Trends as one of America's Best Real Estate Professionals in Texas from 2022-2025. On a personal level, when she's not working, she enjoys reading, gardening (she is a Master Gardener), fishing, hiking, kayaking, biking, and taking long walks. She is married and has a son, daughter, and baby granddaughter (!) , proudly flying the flags of all their universities UT, Texas A&M, and the University of Houston at her Galveston home. Her constant companion is her beloved Chiweenie, Wiley, who loves riding along with her as she checks on listings.
