I bought a house recently and they helped and assisted me with everything. I cant count the number of times I called John to ask for questions or concerns, and he would never miss a call or he would call me back in a matter of seconds. They were always available to look at as many houses you wanted until you find the one you liked the most. They are both very knowledgeable and experienced in the field. To put it briefly, our experience was far less than satisfactory, but more importantly we had no idea of just how beneficial an exceptional realtor with decades of experience could be until we met John. I had read dozens of reviews praising John's work prior to giving him a call. I expected that my wife and I would be small fish clients due to our low price range, but my expectations were trumped almost immediately. John went wherever we asked him to go for us, but what set him worlds apart from our past experience with realtors was his interest in our requirements and desires, and his involvement in helping us refine our search time and time again. Rather than a simply patient character, John Garry had genuine concern for our happiness in every home we viewed. Furthermore, John is not just a guide leaving us to figure out the hidden flaws and features a home. He has a keen (and I can't emphasize KEEN enough in this review) eye for damage and quality when it comes to real estate. I got to the point where I found myself trusting everything John told us, because his advice was always spot on when checked against other sources. I am confident that my wife and I saved a lot of money by hiring a realtor who also has a significant amount of experience as a handy man. Just a few days ago, we closed on a wonderful three bedroom split-level that we purchased for $155,000, and we love everything about this house. John helped us get credited for some needed repairs, which were not many but they were significant, and was always responsive and easy to reach. By the end of our search, John felt far more like a friend than someone I only know as a realtor, and even though our business together is finished as far as most realtors are probably concerned John has continued to give me advice on things such as home improvement projects whenever I ask (and I ask him A LOT of questions--he's always seemed happy to respond to my texts). As a bonus, our experiences with John's wife, Beth, and his dog, Molly, we're just as enjoyable. The three of them are a great bunch as people (and dog), not just as professionals. I first met John through the phone as I was cold calling people I googled on-line anxious to buy my first home after unsuccessful attempts using other so called Realtors. Unlike others I have unsuccessfully dealt with, John was very attentive to my needs and never made it seem like I was wasting his time. John also makes it a point to answer his calls when he can and returns them as soon as possible with any and all of my questions answered if he couldn't answer right away. Although I am sure John is always super busy because of his referrals and strong work ethic, I never feel rushed when we talk or when scheduling appointments. John is also very good about knowing the market environment and negotiating the very best possible price. I never went away thinking that I spent too much money or didn't get the best possible deal. I was further impressed with his knowledge of home construction and attention to details..... things that I would have easily missed without him there. It's almost like having a home inspector with you or a calm version of yourself that looks at things objectively and honestly without trying to push you into a bad decision. John will actually listen to you and apply what you tell him unlike others who pretend to listen to you and still send you down the wrong path. It didn't ever seem to matter with John how many houses we looked at as long as he felt that we were getting into the right house and took into account all our future needs. John has integrity, very straight forward and will always be honest with you (event if it means sacrificing a sale). I don't think I can ever work with another Realtor for as long as I am alive or John isn't already retired. Even if you are just looking for general market advice and not sure about buying... I would give John a call since he isn't going to pressure you into a sale.

For reasons completely unrelated to John, ours was no easy search. We had a lot of hiccups that meant our search lasted for a few months until we found our gem. Throughout, John (and Beth) was the epitome of patience, dedication, thoughtfulness and class. They showed us home after home, and never once lost the spring in their step, or the genuine care in their approach to our needs. This is a guy who is not so much in it for the money as he is in it to ensure that his clients get the exact home of their dreams, whatever it takes. I've really seldom come across a human being so genuine, sincere, and caring about others. And if one is hard to come by, it seems that John has found the only other person out there with the same wonderful caring and giving personality who can match his empathy, in his wife and partner Beth. We looked at tons of houses all over, and he never got frustrated. In fact, he told me that he would not sell me a house that had mold in it. I thought I had found the deal of the century. But, he said if I wanted to buy the house I would have to get another realtor. He pointed out mold issues through out the house and showed what it would cost to clean and pointed out all the health issues with the house. He showed me where floor boards and supports were rotted, where foundations were cracked...ect. You want the best realtor you can find---this is the guy. He will help you find your dream home in your budget in a great neighborhood. And he will keep you from getting in to a money pit. Whether you are buying a multi million dollar home or a first time small home this is the guy you want. Honest, hard working and he really does care about his clients. He is one of a kind. 07/26/2014 - agatazgrz Sold a home in 2014. We were looking for the dream house for 6 months and nothing... Then we've met John & Beth! Thanks to them we have found what we were looking for! A dream house, called HOME! ?? Our son's school is next to the house, parks, library, everything needed to raise a child! They were always on time, any time! We are very great-full and can recommend John and Beth to everyone! And one more thing- John is allergic to mold! ??
