Due to timeline and geographic constraints, I needed to purchase a house sight-unseen in Anchorage. Putting down hundreds of thousands of dollars on a place you've never stepped inside is a BIG RISK. However, Bethany, Janelle and Isabel were AMAZING. They did virtual showings of multiple houses, gave me the honest truth about things and didn't just try to have me settle, and were the BEST people to work with ever.
I have had experiences with multiple real estate agents before and they were a cut above everyone else.

We recently sold our house through Mehner Weiser Real Estate. We chose Bethany as our realtor at the recommendation of a friend. They guided us through the entire home-selling process, prepared outstanding marketing materials, communicated with the local realtors’ community about our listing, recommended outstanding workmen for necessary house repairs and assisted in our communications with the title company. Bethany’s connections with various parties necessary for our sale made the sale much easier. Betheny communicated very well with us from our first contact through closing. The entire team at Mehner-Reiser, including Bonny Mehner and Lindsay Cross, were responsive and knowledgeable as we worked through the sale. We have now bought & sold six houses, and this was our best experience with a realtor in all of those transactions.

It was not an easy decision to sell our home of 40 years. We had never sold a home before and didn't know any realtors.
We took the recommendation of a friend and chose Mehner/Weiser Real Estate. Bonnie and Bethany came to our home and advised us on how to prepare for a successful sale.
We moved to California a few days before our home went on the market, leaving the sale in their most competent hands. The photos Bonnie and Bethany arranged were stunning, showcasing the unique assets of our home. Their staging recommendations definitely increased its appeal. Our house sold to the first couple that toured it. Lindsay made long distance closing a breeze as she took care of every detail.

I entrusted the sale of my home to them. The process was started in the comfort of my home with Bethany. She spent time with me explaining the process and going through all the necessary paperwork to start the sale.

This included a beautiful flyer, the staging of my home, a date for an open house, and finally, placing it on the market.

We started looking for a house during the early 2021 housing intensity and we quickly lost track of how many times we said we were so grateful to Julie Strand and everyone at Mehner Weiser as our realtors. Julie was very patient and helpful as we looked at numerous houses. When we finally found a house to put in an offer on their expertise in comparative analysis led to the seller accepting an offer we were very happy with. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Bethany and Lindsay! We made a HUGE move from Texas to Alaska and they made it about as smooth of a transition as you can make it. They were always ready to answer questions (even with a 3 hour time difference for the first couple of weeks), help us with logistics and even suggest restaurants, businesses, and physicians, and so much more! Bethany was so knowledgable of the area and really pointed us in the right direction since we did not know anything about Alaska! Not to mention, they were professional yet personal and fun, which always helps lighten the mood when going through a stressful move and house buying process. Highly recommended. Beth outmaneuvered a competing bidder, always knew where to draw the line, and juggled TWELVE different companies who had to come to the house (only four paid by us). The sellers' agent was a bit flaky, so Beth and her assistant Lindsay had to fill lots of gaps. We found her through her great portfolio, and we've already recommended her to friends.
