Betty Mallon has been a licensed real estate agent specializing in residential sales in the city of Alexandria for over thirty years. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors® and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors®.
In addition to holding a real estate license, she has three advanced residential sales designations which are GRI, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, CRS, Certified Residential Specialist and SRS, Seller Representative Specialist. These designations are not mandatory; however, combined with experience they give Betty a better understanding and education of the residential sales market.
She is a native Alexandrian (fifth generation), and with the exception of five years, has always resided in the city. During that time, she resided in New York while working for an international airline. Her husband, also a native of Alexandria, and her have raised three sons in the city and are fortunate to have lots of extended family still residing locally. She feels her knowledge for the city and the many different communities within helps her better represent her clients, whether they are Sellers or Purchasers.
Betty is proud to be affiliated with the best firm in the business, McEnearney Associates, Inc. Over fifteen years ago, she transferred from a larger chain company for the smaller (and what I think is better) independent company. Her only regret is that she did not do it sooner. For years McEnearney has led the industry in sales in the city of Alexandria. Since Betty specializes in the city, it makes sense to work for the firm that will best support her in marketing her properties and assisting her buyers.
She is 100% a "hands on" Realtor. She has a fantastic support in the office that handles all the paper work. Fortunately, that frees up time to concentrate on her clients.
