Me and my fiancé worked with Bill Wallen for sometime to find a house and thankfully we found one. Bill was very courteous, professional, and patient. I’ve had to deal with other realtors who were too pushy and more concerned about making a sale. Not only did Bill gave us a lot of advice to consider, but he also made sure we were comfortable about what we wanted. No other Realiter we worked with was as clear cut and honest as Bill. Not only did he answer every single question I had, (which were a lot as a first time home buyer) he answered them in a timely manner also. It's refreshing to see integrity and honesty in the real estate world. Too often you find that realtors are more interested in getting you into a contract, and finding something for you that "checks MOST of your boxes". Bill's philosophy appears to be; 1) Go above and beyond for the client. 2) You sleep when your dead. 3) If your client asks for a an inch, give them a foot. 4) Know your limitations.

I was a long distance client looking for a lakefront property. Bill arranged to show me 5 properties in one afternoon in order to accommodate my long travel time. Even prior to my visit, Bill emailed me as many maps and as much history on the properties that he could dig up. He contacted the other realtors to confirm specifics about the properties, and he even tracked down neighboring properties contact information. Even before my visit, I had informed him that although these properties were interesting, I truly felt like they were just too far of a drive for me and my family.
After visiting the properties, we talked pros and cons. It was evident that these properties were not for me, and that the distance was far too great. With that information, Bill urged me to continue looking, but in a region that would be more suitable for us. He offered some helpful ideas on how to move forward, and urged me to keep my families needs at the forefront, not to settle for something that we would be disappointed in.
Bill acknowledged that the area I was going to be looking into, was not his "area" and that there may be a realtor that probably would be more familiar with the lakes and neighborhoods of that region. Although I agree with him, I am crossing my fingers that Bill has a twin in that area to assist me.
If you are looking in the Medford, WI area, DO NOT HESITATE to call Bill to assist you.
