A native Floridian, BJ began her real estate career in 1990 in Homestead, Florida, before transitioning full-time to the Florida Keys in 1997.
BJ’s journey in real estate is marked by her entrepreneurial spirit and leadership. In 1991, she opened her own brokerage in Homestead, quickly expanding to a second office in Cutler Ridge by 1995. Under her guidance, the brokerage grew to include over 28 real estate professionals, becoming the area’s top office. After achieving her goals, BJ sold both offices in 1997 to fully dedicate herself to the vibrant Keys market.
An influential figure in the industry, BJ served as the President of the Board of Realtors in 1995 and 1996 and was honored as Realtor of the Year in 1995. She has held broker licenses in both Florida and North Carolina since 1993, specializing in residential and new construction sales.
Currently, BJ proudly serves as a Director on the Florida Keys Board of Realtors, continuing her commitment to leadership and excellence within the real estate community.
Beyond her professional success, BJ has a deep love for the Keys lifestyle. She enjoys spearfishing, underwater photography, and cherishing the stunning sunsets the area offers. Above all, she treasures her role as a grandmother, finding joy in every moment spent with her family.
