Bo Blackwell

Bo grew up in Linden, Alabama, receiving his BS degree from Livingston University (University of West Alabama) in Biology and Business and serving more than two decades in the Alabama National Guard, retiring as a major. Working in the sales industry, he and his family relocated to Daphne and he has called the Eastern Shore home since 1998.

An ardent advocate of and contributor to the industry's integrity and professionalism, Bo has thrived since 2006 as a Realtor. In 2015, Bo, along with his wife and business partner, Sondra, started Blackwell Realty. His approachable nature and passionate support of his clients quickly propelled him into the ranks of top producers in Baldwin County.

He has served as past chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee for Baldwin Realtors and has served as Southern Regional Vice President. He is also a member of the Government and Political Affairs Committee for the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Bo is an expert negotiator and prides himself on his ability to advocate for his clients and build durable, long-term relationships with industry players. Viewed by his peers as honest and dependable, Bo was nominated as Realtor of the Year for Baldwin County in 2018.

He attributes his faith in God and hard work and commitment to his success. He is involved in Fairhope United Methodist Church, Outback America and Practice Ministries. When he isn't working hard for his clients, Bo is an avid hunter and fisherman and loves spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors. He and Sondra have been married since 1989 and have two outstanding children, one of whom is also an agent at Blackwell Realty and one is a student at Bayside Academy; and additionally have a beautiful daughter-in-law and two adorable granddaughters.

His values shine though in every contact he has, enabling him to engage all clients in a personal way and represent their diverse interests: from relocating veterans to single mothers, from business investors to empty nesters.
