We were in a difficult situation with our home and Bob was instrumental in helping us through the entire process. When everyone else said it wouldn’t work, he was able to get our home ready for market and with multiple offers we were under contract in just days. We also had to endure a few bumps in the road while under contract…..to the point that the buyers walked, but before that day ended, Bob had secured another buyer and we were closed later that month. We can’t say enough about what he did for us…..there are huge differences between agents…..so put Bob’s experience on your side, like we did, you can’t go wrong.

My wife and I were looking for a great deal on “that unique, rare gem” of a property (just like everybody else!), so we needed an agent who was patient, willing to be as optimistic as we were, and good-natured enough not to openly laugh at our naïveness as first-time buyers! Having previously worked with and parted ways with two good agents, we were losing enthusiasm and confidence when a mutual friend introduced us to Bob Blevins. It was immediately clear that Bob would be highly enjoyable and entertaining to work with, and the following months proved that he was not only friendly, positive and hilarious, but also a no-nonsense businessman at all the right times. He listened patiently and intently to our wishes and goals, and offered timely insight being careful not to impose his own ideas if they weren’t in line with ours. He has a tremendous amount of experience and market knowledge—often speculating on details about a property in question or making predictions about how he thought a scenario might play out (like when and for how much he thought a place would end up selling for)—and he always turned out to be right on. We knew that he wouldn’t let us overpay, or try to pay so little as to undermine the attractiveness of our offer. Bob gave us the confidence that when “our place” came along, he would know how to close the deal—something that had been lacking in our previous experiences. When we finally did find the place we had been waiting for and set our sights on making it ours, Bob without question was the right man for the job! Backed by his demonstrated insight into market conditions, we were confident that we were writing up the best offer for the situation. Later on, using a VA loan on an older home with out-of-state sellers introduced several obstacles which were resourcefully negotiated with the agility and tenacity of a seasoned veteran. I do not doubt that if we had been working with a less experienced agent, or one who did not constantly have our best interests in mind, we either would have had to let this one go, or would have ended up paying thousands more out of pocket in order to negotiate these obstacles the monetary way. Bob not only closed the deal, but went the extra distance with every stride to ensure that we got the best possible deal out of the transaction. In the end, my wife summed it up best: “he was a pleasure working with--not only on a professional level, but I felt we had new friend.” Indeed, Bob is now a welcome guest anytime Saturday morning brunch is served!

I've known and worked with Bob for the last couple years. Bob is very thorough and knowledgeable! He has many years of experience and his insight is invaluable. In addition to his knowledge, he's a great guy and someone I've enjoyed getting to know over the years. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an expert realtor to contact Bob.
