About Bobbie

Since 1972, my focus has been to assist buyers and sellers in the purchase or sale of their personal residences. Listening to the individual needs of my clients is critical to guiding them through the decision process - and listening has proven instrumental to me while helping thousands of buyers and sellers throughout my 50-year career.

I’ve earned a national reputation as a real estate broker-owner who developed, maintained, and grew a successful real estate business in Orlando, Florida’s competitive market - ultimately owning three offices there. Driven and dedicated in the industry, I held many committee and leadership positions and was the Director of the Florida Association and National Association of REALTORS® for many years.

After marrying Tom Schmitt, a national real estate developer, I sold my real estate company in Orlando and moved to Atlanta where I activated my real estate license and opened my own interior design firm - Sunnerbird Design. Real estate and interior design go hand in hand, and I can offer my clients years of experience in both fields. I stay on top of all design trends and what’s happening within the real estate community in the greater Atlanta area and neighboring cities.

In addition to being a full-time REALTOR®, I have also been selected as a Host of the Emmy nominated TV show, The American Dream, selling Atlanta and surrounding areas. This show is available on Fox, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Amazon Prime Video.

I enjoy spending time with my blended family, including 10 children and more than 20 grandchildren. The international charity, Special Olympics, is special to me as one of my sons is a diverse athlete of the Special Olympic Games. I also love to travel, bicycle and golf with my husband and spoil my Maltese puppy, Chanel.
