About Bobby

Bobby is a St. Petersburg native who first received his real estate license in 2004. Prior to joining Mainframe Real Estate as the Market Founder for the St. Pete/Tampa Bay Market, Bobby previously was the founder and Owner/Broker of Poth & Associates Real Estate, a boutique real estate firm in the Tampa Bay area. In December 2019, Poth & Associates re-branded their St. Pete offices and converted them to Mainframe Real Estate. Bobby is also a licensed real estate instructor and owner of an online real estate school. As a consistent multi-million dollar producing agent, Bobby’s concierge approach to real estate, combined with nearly 16 years of experience, helps him deliver unparalleled service to his customers and clients.

Bobby believes in giving back to local communities, so he commits to giving a percentage of every professional service fee/commission he and his team receive back to local non-profit organizations. Bobby also has served as the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Chair of Equality Florida’s St. Pete Gala. Other community involvement includes former Co-Chair of Diversity & Inclusion for the St. Petersburg Young Professionals Executive Board, Member of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, and member and sponsor of the newly formed organization Pro-PALS. Bobby’s commitment to giving back to our local communities has also become a guiding principle for his business, and he has formed several partnerships within the community in an effort to give back.

Bobby has extensive knowledge and experience regarding Condominium and Homeowner’s Associations and the statutes that govern them, foreclosures, single family homes, and million-dollar estates, and luxury condos. I've been meaning to do this earlier, it's just that Bobby was so darn good, I couldn't think of words that would match his ability as an agent. We learned more about st. Petersburg in 5 minutes with Bobby than 2 days with out previous agent.

Bobby represented us as Buyers. He did everything from getting us seller concessions to making the title company eat the cost when they messed up. He matched us up with the best inspector and helped us find the needle in a haystack insurance agent who would do an older roof.

Our first time home buying experience was next level and I can guarantee when we sell we are going to be using Bobby.

My partner and I first started to explore a move to St. Petersburg with Bobby nearly two years ago. Over that time, we made several visits to St. Petersburg to learn more about the market, look at properties, and get a better sense of what St. Petersburg is like. In spades, Bobby delivered on all three. He was most gracious about his time - we explored properties from North to South, East to West. Bobby was forthright about the market. Never once did it feel like a sale! And, what made it most personal were social introductions he made to people living here and simply staying in regular touch while we were back at home.

This June, we rented an AirBnB for a month to give St. Petersburg a true test-drive. We picked-up the house-hunt again with Bobby, honing in on the one area that caught our hearts - the Pink Streets! Luck would have it that a house we liked from the outside was now on the market. Bobby rolled up his sleeves to help us land this home, from arranging inspections to introducing us to contractors, and most importantly, negotiating a price that really worked for us. Six-weeks later, we were home-owners!

His attention to detail did not stop there. As new residents to St Petersburg, we needed introductions to the folks who would help us care for the house - lawn keepers, pest control, pool, interior designers, a/c, plumbers, roofers, etc. Within a week of closing - it feels as if we have lived in St. Petersburg forever, surrounded by those who will help us care for the house.

Both my partner and I would encourage anyone interested in purchasing a home in the St. Petersburg area to work with Bobby. His knowledge, experience, and most importantly, personal care have truly helped us to find our forever-home and to make St. Petersburg our home.
