Brenda Avery

Brenda Avery brings over 15 years of experience working with high-net-worth clients and C-suite executives. She is a driven, experienced, and trusted advisor with demonstrated success in negotiation and strategic communication and believes in leveraging her skills to best serve the needs of her clients. Her professional and kind demeanor has helped her build strong relationships with an international and discerning clientele.

A consistent visitor to the Hawaiian islands for over 20 years, Brenda made the permanent move to the Big Island in 2015 after spending the preceding decade living and working in New York City and Greenwich, Connecticut. Her move from NYC to the Big Island in 2015 provides a unique perspective for those looking to relocate to Hawai’i.

During her time on the east coast, Brenda held various in-house marketing and public relations roles for several luxury goods houses including Cartier, TOD’S, and Dolce & Gabbana. Upon moving to Hawai’i, she served as the Hawaii Islands CEO of The Luxury Network, the world’s leading luxury affinity marketing group. Prior to earning her real estate license, Brenda served as a marketing and PR consultant for a luxury real estate brokerage on the Big Island.

As a licensed REALTOR, Brenda specializes in luxury and lifestyle properties. She is a Certified Real Estate Investment Planning Specialist and a Member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. She holds an MS in Strategic Communications from Columbia University and a BA in International Relations and Political Science from UC San Diego.

An active member of the West Hawai’i Association of Realtors® (WHAR), Brenda has held several leadership positions within the organization and was recognized by her peers as WHAR’s Rookie of the Year in her first year of business. She is a graduate of the Hawaii Association of Realtors® Leadership Academy and was a featured cover agent for Top Agent Magazine, Hawai’i edition.

Outside of work, Brenda enjoys volunteering in her community and staying active. She is a certified stress management specialist and holds weekly, donation-only relaxation and meditation classes for local kupuna (elders). Making the most of island life, Brenda enjoys sailing, canoe paddling, golfing, running marathons, and spending time with her family and loved ones.
