EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONAL!

I did not know any real estate agents in the South Salem, NY area, so I called one of my local experts in South Carolina for a recommendation. After doing some research she gave me Brenda Timm's name/number. It turns out she was in the office on a Sunday afternoon catching up on some work and answered my call. It was a one in a million chance for me to find Ms. Timm.

She immediately went over and viewed the property within 2-3 days, suggested some minor remodeling tips (painting, a couple of light fixtures, 2 doors replaced, etc.) and had a contractor in to do the work the next week. She took charge and handled all the details and I never had to go to NY to do anything with the home. I have been in business for myself for 38 years and I have rarely met or worked with anyone who was so exceptional at their job.

I never met Ms. Timm in person, but I can tell you I trusted her advice and I am glad I did. I had multiple offers over the list price and a contract within days. If I could give her 10 stars I would. It was a joy to work with her and see the home get sold to a great family who I hope will love the neighborhood as much as the previous family.

As first time home buyers we could not have been luckier to have found Brenda to guide us through the process of finding and purchasing our home. Brenda was extremely patient with us as we learned more about the various towns and neighborhoods we were interested in, always offering us great advice and steering us in the right direction. Right from the start she was able to grasp exactly what we were looking for in a first home, and showed us a variety of properties that fit our criteria, often opening our eyes to new possibilities we hadn't considered. Brenda is a one-stop-shop when it comes to home buying; she goes way above and beyond the call of duty. All I needed to do was show up for the viewings. Brenda's ability to tailor the home buying experience to every client's needs is unparalleled. When I decided on a house, Brenda brought with her: 1) an inspector that specializes in old houses; 2) mold inspector + remediator; 3) radon inspector + remediator; 4) lender; 5) attorney; 6) contractor; and 7) architect. Her network is expansive, she knows experts of all kinds, and can offer your suggestions or choose the person right for your situation. Everyone she introduced me to is a gem. Brenda handled everything and was on-site for every part of the process from inspection to remediation to closing. She immediately developed a strong and trusting relationship with the seller and their attorney to ensure clear and cordial communication. Even after the closing Brenda kept in close contact with me and my contractor, feeding us information for materials suppliers in the area with good deals on tile, stone, HVAC, and more. Working with Brenda was an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend her to someone looking for a buyers or sellers agent. She helped me and my husband find and purchase our first home. Throughout the process she offered us trustworthy advice, was extremely available and responsive for all of our questions, had great recommendations for the inspectors and lawyer, and helped us negotiate down to a price that we could afford on the house we wanted. Wow. 5 offers above asking price in less than a week. My friends have been raving about Brenda for years and now I know why. Take her advice! All of it. It takes a lot of trust to follow advice when selling your home - what to repair, what to remove vs display, when to photograph, whether to use drones, what features to highlight, who to market to, when to list, what price, how hard to counter the offers, how to factor in all elements of a bid (there’s so much more than just the price!), and when to just be patient. Her guidance put an extra $35k in my pocket, easily. Brenda is smart, connected, and loves her work. I can’t recommend her highly enough!!!!

Brenda brings a seldom seen work ethic and top-notch business skills to her real estate business. Her market knowledge and savvy pricing skills perfectly positioned our mother’s home for sale amongst the competition to not only bring out the qualified buyers, but to maximize the sale price of the property. Brenda Timm is wonderful to work with. Our house went into a bidding war, and she managed it with professionalism and ease. She's an excellent communicator in that she is responsive and concise. In addition to knowing the market really well, she's a pro at marketing homes. She gave us feedback and advice on what would look best and be most appealing, and then worked with the photographer to capture the character of the home. Our house sold in less than a week, and it was a stressless process. She's more like a partner in the sale of your home than she is a salesperson, and she practiced COVID safety with diligence. Highly recommend.
