We have closed two real estate transactions this year (one sold/one bought), both through Desert Sun Realty. Bret (broker/agent), John (agent) and Cherry (escrow manager) have consistently gone over and above to ensure everything went smoothly each step of the way. This is reason enough to recommend Desert Sun Realty. There are three other situations specific to our transaction that Bret and his staff handled in a very commendable manner. First, on our behalf, Bret himself presented our offer to the seller/agent face to face which enhanced the likelihood of acceptance. Second, since the house we were buying was in Probate and we were out of state, Cherry went to court in Las Vegas as our representative. Third, the 4th day after we moved in, we experienced what seemed to be a fairly serious plumbing problem (showers, toilets and sinks all backed up); Bret personally coordinated for a plumber who arrived within 2 hours. In addition to these professional examples of why we think so highly of these folks, we feel like we have made new friends. 3 years ago I did not know who Bret Runion was, but today I have purchased 16 investment properties through him and would not think of using anyone else as my real estate broker. My brother-in-law lived in Boulder City in the early 2000's and had purchased 3 properties from Bret over a period of time during which he developed a great deal of trust and respect for Bret. When my brother-in-law and I decided to invest in the Las Vegas real estate market due to the downturn in the housing market, Bret was our obvious choice to call on. My respect for Bret was greatly enhanced when he talked us through the pros and cons of the location/resale outlook on one of the first properties we looked at. He actually talked us out of making an offer, but he was more interested in us feeling comfortable with the deal than he was with making the sale. I have now actually purchased 3 properties sight unseen simply based on Bret's telephone recommendation. Every single one of the 16 properties we have purchased have turned out to be as good or better investments than Bret said we could expect for them to be. All of Bret's staff are extremely professional and and efficient and they know how to make things happen without any hitches or delays. Cherry, Nate, Anna, John, Sanya, Maryanne, Jo and all of the rest are all a pleasure to work with.
