Brian Amundson is a licensed realtor serving the State of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. He specializes in residential real estate for both buyers and sellers. As a former teacher, Brian’s ability to educate and inform his clients is at his core. Building a strong working relationship is of utmost importance to him. Brian was born and raised in Northfield, Minnesota. Following high school he earned a Bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas. Brian was a special education teacher for 18 years. He lives in Elko New Market, Minnesota with his wife, Annie, and their three daughters, Kayleigh, Paisley and Tenley. Their black lab, Ace, completes the family. Leisure time activities include: golfing, hunting, fishing, boating and playing the guitar. As an avid outdoorsman, Brian loves teaching his children about catch and release— especially the 4 inch lunkers the girls catch! Brian is active within the community coaching youth softball and basketball, volunteering at school, and playing guitar in the Homestead Community Church band.

As a real estate professional, Brian listens carefully, responds to questions, provides clear explanations and becomes a trusted advocate for his clients. As a family man and a homeowner, Brian understands that although your home is one of your biggest investments it is more than just a place to live; it is where you establish roots and make memories. Brian strives to build a strong rapport and trusting relationship with his clients. He listens, explains, supports and guides his clients through the entire buying/selling process. Brian and I connected after he sold my neighbor's home last summer. I had a lot going on. A widowed parent, preparing my future home to host a reception, and unwinding 23 years in this home. Brian was patient and kept in touch with the advice I needed to get to market for top dollar. Once we finally got to market, wow! Brian's energy shines through. He and his team were constantly in touch from "coming soon" to closing. I was never left wondering or had a question unanswered.

I had previously connected with a realtor friend who quickly became annoying telling me to do everything neutral. He's a house flipper, I was selling my home not a commodity. Brian understood and gave me solid advice to get to market and sell over asking at top dollar.
