I highly recommend Brian and Dan from the Sereno Group. We worked mostly with Brian, and he was amazing. Brian and Dan walked us through the process, handled prepping the house, staging the house, properly pricing, negotiating the offers, and closing escrow. Context: Our father had just passed away, we were all grieving, my mother was in lockdown at her assisted living community, and we wanted to sell the house amidst an uncertain Covid-19 market. Brian helped us navigate all of this, including complicated family dynamics. Brian recommended all the right upgrades to our house, which hadn’t been upgraded for 30-years. From start to finish: house prepped, staged, marketed, and listed in 3-weeks, 3 offers in 24-hours, final offer above asking price with waivers, and escrow closed in 20-days. We got an amazing realtor, family counselor, dynamic communicator, all-around nice guy, all in one package. Thank you Brian and Dan!

Brian is not only the best realtor around, but his a very genuine human being with an amazing team, Christina his wife, and Dan his partner. During a difficult time in my life, after the loss of my husband, Brian and his team were very compassionate, empathetic, and did everything they could to make the process of selling my home as well as purchasing another home possible in a short amount of time. He walked me through the process, guiding me on what needed to be done, and what the next steps would be during the entire process. Brian and his team were always available at any time to answer questions or explain what the next steps would be. His professionalism, his friendliness, and his honesty are three of his strengths.

I never dreamt in 2 short months, I would not only sell my home well above asking price, as well as purchase and close on a new home which Brian and Christian both felt was a great fit for me. Christina and Dan did an outstanding job stepping in when Brian was unavailable. The housing market is fast paced at this time, and this team worked above and beyond their call of duty to make sure my best interest was a priority.

I will not only recommend Brian and his team to anyone looking for a realtor they can trust, who will put them first, and be honest with about the best way to approach any situation. I will always be grateful to Brian for his support, encouragement, and for making such a difficult time as easy as possible. Brian is an amazing Realtor. (We as always took way too long to write this review but) it is so important to us to let folks out there know how great Brian really is. Brian helped my wife and I purchase our first home, in Sept 16'. We had a modest budget for the Bay but that made no difference to Brian he was kind and supportive throughout the process. He was amazing, he went to bat for us when needed, answered all our questions and was super friendly the whole time. As this was our first home purchase we had a lot of questions and were new to the whole process, which has a lot of steps but he kept us moving in the right direction. Honestly we had a lot of fun searching for homes with Brian we kind of miss spending our weekends with him. Brian helped us be realistic in what we could afford in this difficult market and never pressured us in any way. Finally Brian was there through some strange issues with understanding different HOA's and the waiting process between getting your bid accepted and when you finally get the keys.
5/5 we will reach out to Brian again for our next home purchase.
If you searching for your first home or just the next one, go ahead and call Brian you won’t regret it!

We had the pleasure of working with Brian Bernasconi as we bought our first home and we thank him for making the experience everything that it was: clear; easy; seamless. We found Brian to be incredibly trustworthy and a gifted communicator - we would tell him our needs and he would help us translate that into the house search. We shared with him information about our finances and priorities, and had complete trust in his ability to use that information in good stead during the negotiation process, and negotiate on our behalf in good faith.
During the house hunting process, Brian would regularly tell us about houses that he knew of that were likely to fit our requirements, and despite our tireless searches for available properties online, Brian always knew of additional houses that were on the market, or soon to come on the market. His experience and network proved to be invaluable in our house search and was key in us finding the house we ended up purchasing.
While we valued Brian’s communication and negotiating skills, his trustworthiness, and his knowledge of the local housing market and the players therein, it was his advice and insight during the entire process that helped us, first time homebuyers, feel comfortable with the large financial decisions we were making. He answered all of our questions, coordinated all of the inspections and consultants that we needed, reviewed every contract with us, and made himself available for every appointment we had.

Brian Bernasconi helped us sell our first home and buy our second home in a brutal market. We are picky buyers who knew we wanted an old home with tons of character but not a lot of work to be done. It took a good seven months to finish both deals and during that time Brian was not only our agent but he was also our rock. He is calm and injects great humor into every situation. He always had OUR best interest at heart and went to bat for us over and over and over again with great enthusiasm and optimism. He also never rolled his eyes at my crazy ideas.
After we closed the deal of the house we purchased, I wanted to redo the kitchen, baths and floors... Once again Brian came through with tons of references and even helped us manage the job. To this day, Brian is our go to guy for everything real estate, finance or home improvement related. I can't think of anyone who will work harder or be more dedicated to finding someone their dream home than Brian.
He is simply the best.

After a phone call to Brian on Thursday about me relocating to San Jose, he called on Friday about a property on sale. We went to the open house on Saturday and our offer was accepted the following Thursday. Pinch myself, IT TOOK ONE WEEK! That is how incredible Brian Bernasconi is, he deserves 10 stars.
The place had all the features we were looking for, double that, it was a duplex. He knew the best offer to assure it would be accepted. He was so excited, you would have thought he was purchasing the property for himself. The selling agent shared with the owner of Brian's perseverance and tenacity and felt that we needed to be the new owners.
He worked above and beyond his working hours to stay on top of everything keeping us on tract and in the loop. Brian followed up on all the approval transactions up through the closing.
I am grateful and appreciate his knowledge, thoughtfulness, expertise and outstanding job, always going the extra mile.

If you want to sell your property, hire Mr. Brian Bernasconi as your real estate agent! I recently hired Mr. Bernasconi to sell my father's home and I was extremely impressed by his knowledge of the market, his OUTSTANDING customer service and his high level of professionalism. Without a doubt, I always felt he was looking out for my best interests and kept me informed of the process on a regular basis. The house was sold in an extremely short time frame and for significantly more than I had anticipated. Mr. Bernasconi walked me through the mountain of paperwork that needed to be signed, taking the time to answer all my questions. Whenever I texted or called him regarding the process or the sale, he immediately responded. In addition to my phenomenal experience in working with him, the agent for the buyer of my father's house also informed me that it was truly a pleasure working with Mr. Bernasconi. Dan and Brian sold our home in Monte Sereno in 5 days! We live in Portland Maine so they took on many of the "To Dos" to get the house ready to list. They gave us solid advice on painting and staging that allowed us to sell the home above the listing price.
In addition to their very professional counsel, they were delightful to work with. When ever we had a question or concern, they had an answer for us in the shortest time possible.

Dan and Brian were both our buy and sell agents as moved moved from South San Jose to Sunnyvale. They were a terrific tag-team and made what is always a stressful situation as easy as possible. A few things to point out about the service they provided:

1/ Responsiveness was top notch. You want an agent that is available to answer questions, provide guidance when you need it, and in a high pressured environment - all of that needs to happen quickly. Dan and Brian were incredibly easy to get a hold of (and proactively communicated well too). Whether it was phone call, text, or email - they were always available.

2/ Creative in selling/staging - In selling our old home, we had decisions to make around the things to fix, the things to highlight, and the things to make shine. They came to the table with various options - at different price points - and gave us clear recommendations about what to do.

3/ Thoughtful in selling and buying strategies - There were various decisions points we had to make when selling our house and buying the new house. Dan and Brian thought through the strategy, offered options, and explained their thinking. This let my wife and I make decisions on how to move forward (mostly in line with Dan and Brian's recommendations). Through this advice, we were able to buy a house in a multiple offer situation, and sell our house at the price we expected. That's all you can ask for.

Brian is not only good as realtor,, but might be the best service I have experience in my whole life.

He was able to handle a very difficult transaction. The process went thru a failed loan first attempt with my bank after seller accepted the offer, he negotiated an extension on time to remove loan contingency and helped work on a second lender.
After removing the loan contingency from the offer on the loan approval, and with lot of money at risk, the second lender almost failed to deliver the loan. Brian was key to help solving that situation and finding an alternative loan so we do not end going to court to recover the 3% of the house.
At the end, and because all the issues, the end of escrow was delayed one week so I was charged by the escrow company. Brian asked me if I wanted to complain so the financial company pays for the delay. I was so tired that I told him forget about it and I assumed the money as lost.
Brian did not have any other commitment with us, and I even told him to forget about it... he evidently cannot give any money on the table so he pressed the financial company without my knowledge, and I received the refund check. This was just amazing, unexpected great news and extra mile from him.

I just cannot think how someone could do a better job!

THANK YOU BRIAN! We will never forget what you did and my family and I have a second job now at recommend you in any opportunity was have to do so.
