Brian Delaney

Brian Delaney was raised in Boulder, returning to start a family in 2006 after spending time living in San Francisco and Maui. The youngest of four brothers, Brian spent the bulk of his youth exploring, and living in, the neighborhoods he now represents as the founder of Delaney Realty Group.

After graduating from Western State College in Gunnison with a degree in business and marketing, Brian traveled the world as a professional snowboarder for seven years. During that time he and his brother Kevin started Delaney Snowboarding, which quickly became an industry leader in snowboard instruction, product design and resort consulting. Brian moved to San Francisco in 1997, after retiring from the pro circuit, to pursue an opportunity with a startup company utilizing the skills he honed running Delaney Snowboarding.

Looking for warmer weather, Brian moved to Maui in 2000, where he started his real estate career. In addition to working with buyers and sellers, Brian built an investment property portfolio that allowed him to experience the intimate details of negotiation, financing and property management that Brian shares with his clients every day. Before moving back to Boulder and starting Delaney Realty Group, Brian worked as a Broker for East West Partners, the developer for Denver’s Riverfront Park and Union Station neighborhoods.

As a Boulder native, with over 24 years of full-time real estate experience, Brian has unsurpassed knowledge of the local market, enabling him to instinctively match clients with their ideal properties. Brian also excels at the negotiating table, navigating even the most challenging situations with grace and ease.

Brian lives in north Boulder and can be found playing soccer in his over 48 league, skiing, snowboarding, biking and spending time with his 14 year old daughter Tula and dog Lucy.
