An entrepreneur since 3rd grade, Britt’s first business venture was door-to-door lemonade sales, followed by her first JV with a next-door neighbor; a robust suite of services including yard work, mother’s helper, and pet sitting. Each marketing flyer was meticulously handmade and personally distributed to the neighbors and Britt was well on her way to a lifetime of providing her clients with concierge service.
Fast forward to 2021, and Britt is a top-producing, experienced luxury real estate advisor. She has achieved the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, the Graduate Realtor Institute Designation through the North Carolina Association of Realtors and is a Christie’s International Real Estate Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. In 2021, Britt was inducted to the Christie’s International Real Estate Master’s Circle, an elite group of high-performing luxury real estate specialists from across our global network. The selection of these members is based on their local success, passion and expertise.
With a proven reputation of being kind but firm, Britt expertly negotiates solid deals that will get to the closing table. Whatever the market conditions, she executes the same processes, listing preparation, extensive marketing plans, timely effective communications and enthusiastically partners with her clients to achieve their goals.
Britt and her husband, a primary care physician, love living in Landfall. They enjoy boating with their two children and standard poodle on the Intracoastal waterway. In addition, they enjoy cheering on the Tar Heels and taking full advantage of all the amenities the coastal lifestyle offers. Pilates, tennis, running, decorating, entertaining and philanthropy round out Britt’s free time.
With an accomplished and diverse career background, Britt has served in high performance sales and leadership/mentorship roles in both the real estate and hospitality industries. After graduating from Appalachian State with a degree in Hospitality Management, Britt served as a National Sales Manager for the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. In this hybrid position, her role encompassed employing creative marketing strategies, client events and entertainment, and negotiating large meeting contracts while mitigating risk for the resort. Britt then trained at a large real estate firm in Asheville before carving her niche in the luxury segment with Ivester Jackson BlackStream Christie’s. She led the team through a solid growth period before relocating to Wilmington and working on the launch of Ivester Jackson Coastal.
