About Brittany
I was born in raised in Murray, a town that I feel deeply rooted in. I love seeing the growth this city continues to have, and understand why so many of my clients decide on Murray for their next home!
I am a 2010 Graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Interior Design. My passion for Interior Design has also helped my Real Estate career tremendously. Truth is, successfully staging a home can lead to a quick sale! Which is a win-win for everyone. I love taking Buyers through a home and opening their eyes to its potential through remodeling. I grew up on a construction site, and worked for HomeWorks Construction prior to obtaining my Real Estate license. HomeWorks is owned by the strongest woman I know, my Mom. Watching her work with clients and go through a project from start to finish and being attentive to every detail along the way has helped shaped me into the type of Realtor I want to be.
In 2012 I joined Kopperud Realty, Murray’s home team Realtors since 1976. That’s 43 years, going strong! I was honored to be the 2013 Hoyt Roberts Award recipient, and the 2014 Realtor of the Year for Kopperud Realty, in addition to being a multimillion dollar producer year after year. I am also proud to be a Kentucky Housing Corporation Certified Realtor, helping provide Buyers with the knowledge of affordable home-financing options.
In 2018 I obtained my GRI designation and in 2019 I received my CRS. The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. Where Certified Residential Specialist is the highest designation you can receive as a Realtor, and a designation only 3% of all Realtors in the United States obtain. Both designations require continuing education yearly, production requirements and being an active member in your board.
I am actively involved in the Murray Calloway County Board of Realtors, serving on both the Building and Awards committee. Recently, I joined the Design committee for Murray Main Street, helping to enhance and improve downtown Murray. I also am actively involved in the Young Professionals of Murray, where I served at Co-Chair for many years.
Last but most certainly not least, I am married to Ryan Marchetti, the Principal of Lowes Elementary School in Graves County. We have an adorable golden doodle named Stella, and a precious toddler. Even though my job title may be “Realtor” my favorite title is “Momma.” We enjoy traveling, spending time with dear friends and cheering on the Racers!
If you are looking for a new place to call home, I’d be delighted to meet with you and discuss how I can help make this process easier for you. I can be contacted via email at bjmrealtor@gmail.com or by phone at (270) 753-1222.
