Brittany brings a background in interior design and experience garnered from
working in her mother’s HomeWorks construction business to her real estate
clients and career. “My passion for Interior Design has helped my real estate
career tremendously. Successfully staging a home has led to a quick sale for
many of my sellers. Taking buyers through a home and opening their eyes to its
potential through remodeling helps them envision a space beyond what it might
currently be,” she said.
Brittany’s interest in real estate began when she was asked to help stage homes
in preparation for sale. “I enjoyed that, and as I found out about real estate as a
career, I was encouraged to pursue getting my license in 2012. I enjoy helping
people, whether they are new to Murray, moving away, moving into a larger home
or downsizing. Providing them with the years of experience I have helps provide
them with a smooth transition,” she adds.
Brittany’s career blossomed quickly. She was named the Kopperud Realty
Realtor of the Year in 2014 and 2024 for top sales production. She also received
the MCC Board of Realtors’ Hoyt Roberts Award, which recognizes significant
contributions to the Board within the first three years of membership. Brittany
combined success in sales with a commitment to education by earning the
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, which places her in the top
2% of Realtors nationwide. She is also a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI)
and received MCC Board of Realtors’ Circle of Excellence award for 8 years.
“Being educated in the evolving field of real estate helps me give my clients an
advantage as trends change and new technology is offered,” she said.
Brittany, a Murray native, graduated from Murray State University. Brittany’s
husband, Ryan Marchetti, is the Deputy Superintendent for the Calloway County
School System. They have a son and daughter, who are their greatest
accomplishments. “Above all things real estate,” she notes, “my family means the
world to me. Their support helps me to be a successful Realtor, and the flexibility
allowed with this career gives me the opportunity to be able to be active in all
aspects of their childhood. We enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and
cheering on the Racers!”
Brittany has also been able to continue design work along with her real estate
career. She helped to design the interiors of the Hall of Champions and the Gene
W. Ray Center, which houses offices and practice courts of Murray State
basketball’s men and women programs. She was the interior designer on the
design team of the historic Swan Warehouse, which combines commercial and
residential space in downtown Murray.
