After graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University, with a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Science and a minor in Marketing and Merchandising, Brittny McKay began working as a banker in various high profile institutions. In the years following her graduation, she worked for Iberia Bank, Hancock Bank and Whitney National Bank—and through these positions, she gained experience and valuable insight into the economy and the housing market overall.
Brittny would later combine her time spent working in banking, with her understanding of modern consumerism, to become a unique and highly creative realtor. She has previously been a successful realtor with Keller Williams Realty and Latter and Blum Realtors.
In 2017 after winning various awards in the state and region for selling real estate, Brittny opened her own real estate brokerage, Brittny McKay Real Estate. Brittny maintained her multi-million dollar top producer status selling 400+ houses in her career, while also training and mentoring other real estate professionals. After 4 years of operating as an independent real estate brokerage in the later part of 2022 Brittny decided she wanted more! Brittny became one of the youngest franchise owners of ERA Real Estate, ERA® is a global franchising leader within the AnywhereSM portfolio of brands. Brittny enjoyed her tenure with ERA and then chose to become an independent real estate brokerage again.
Clients adore Brittny’s refreshing take on real estate, particularly because her academic focus on statistics, marketing, consumerism and merchandising allows her to approach each sale with creativity, zest and flair. Brittny is also a very involved real estate broker, who works tirelessly to provide her clients with constant updates on market activity, showings and feedback from other viewers—in an effort to forge lifelong relationships with clients that extend well beyond selling or buying.

Brittny is licensed by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission and is a member of: the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Louisiana Realtor Association (LR), New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR), and the Gulf South Real Estate Information Network (GSREIN). Each of these memberships allows Brittny to remain at the forefront of the housing market, and enables her to network with other successful Realtors®, in an effort to make valuable connections and generate worthwhile partnerships.
