About Byron

Byron Aynes serves the firm as a Commercial Advisor, Partner, and as Broker-In-Charge. In addition to brokerage, he designs training programs and coordinates ongoing professional development for brokers. As part of leadership, he steers the strategic growth and raises brand awareness for the firm.

Byron studied history and communications at Northland International University and began his commercial real estate career in 2013. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Byron is a graduate of the Leadership Institute Greenville-Pitt Chamber 2019 and continues to serve his community on various boards and commissions.

Byron assists with The Overton Group’s Investment Sales division, bringing his experience working with clients on acquisition and disposition of income producing properties in the multifamily, industrial, and medical office asset types. He specializes in sourcing off-market deals and invests time to understand the varying acquisition criteria of his clients to present opportunities tailored to specific buyers.

Byron has represented numerous retail and QSR clients as a tenant representative – sourcing sites, analyzing demographics, and studying growth trends in markets throughout the Southeast. He also represents developers in land acquisition and redevelopment projects throughout Eastern North Carolina. Byron provides results for his clients by emphasizing client/broker communication and transparency throughout each transaction.

A native to Greenville and Eastern North Carolina, Byron is excited to further the healthy growth in this region of the state. He is pursuing his private pilot license and enjoys exploring North Carolina by air. In addition to spending time with his wife, two sons and dog, he loves quality literature, and all the outdoor activities ENC has to offer.
