Desiree Merriweather’s over 23 years of real estate experience has not only given her the ability to provide for her own family, but the honor of taking care of generations of families. One of the highlights of Desiree’s career is when she is called on to assist the children and even grandchildren of her past clients. Her ability to build long-lasting, trusting, professional relationships with her clients has contributed to 95% of her clients being return clients or referrals. Her prior experience includes being Education Coordinator & Support Broker for JPAR Magnolia Group and licensed Realtor positions with Coldwell Banker Realty and Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate, Inc.

She holds specialty designations in working with seniors (Senior Real Estate Specialist - SRES) and diverse populations (At Home With Diversity – AHWD). She was awarded the 2022 Realtor of the Year from the Central Carolina Realtors Association. This award is notably one of the most prestigious awards for realtors in South Carolina and serves as a testament to her accomplishments and the esteemed reputation she holds within the real estate community.
Desiree is a life-long learner and has continued her professional development by completing the South Carolina Association of Realtors (SCR) Leadership Program and obtaining several certifications from the National Association of REALTORS®, including Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), and the REALTORS® Commitment to Excellence Endorsement (C2EX). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina and continues to add specialized certifications to her realtor qualifications portfolio. In her free time, you can find Desiree being mom to her grown-ish sons, Justin and Jackson, a super Aunty to her niece & nephew and spending time with the rest of her family and friends.
