About Candy

Candy McMahon grew up in Gray, Georgia, before heading off to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and then to Washington D.C. for eight years where she worked in Congress and in the restaurant business on Capitol Hill. She returned to Middle Georgia in 1999 to help run the family business and start a family of her own. Candy is now married and has two teenagers.

An avid runner and outdoorsy person, Candy has run a marathon and today she can often be found in local 5k and 10k runs. She enjoys the recreational opportunities that abound in the great state of Georgia from jogging the Ocmulgee trail or kayaking on the river, to bike riding on the beach or camping in the mountains.
