About Carl

Carl currently resides in the Roland Park neighborhood in Baltimore City and grew up in Reisterstown in the Northwest Suburbs of Baltimore. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bucknell University. After working as an accountant at Deloitte & Touché in Manhattan and passing the CPA exam and determining that auditing was not likely his calling in life, Carl followed opportunities back to Baltimore for positions in entrepreneurial sales, property investment and marketing management. While working in the Real Estate investment arena, he found a passion for representing buyers and sellers with their real estate needs. This led him to start his own Real Estate Brokerage, Masters Realty, to allow him to focus his efforts on representing buyers and sellers as a residential broker.

In 2009, Carl joined Coldwell Banker Realty as a Branch Vice President. This position was one that would prove to give me exposure to a new level of real estate resources and best practices, which really rounded out my residential real estate experience nicely. Carl took over the Fells Point office when he started at Coldwell Banker, and then moved to their Greenspring Station office that covered a larger footprint of the Greater Baltimore Metro region.


In August of 2012, Carl made the decision to move his career back into Real Estate Sales. After years of managing agents in two very productive offices in the Baltimore market, he determined that his personal skill set is more ideally matched with working directly with buyers and seller and helping them accomplish their real estate goals. Carl very much enjoys being back in sales and honestly believe that his years of management and sales experience will be an excellent value to his team and clients.

In 2015 Carl formed the Herber Home Team and in 2022 affiliated my business with eXp Realty in an effort to better serve his clients and their diverse needs as well as help him accomplish his growing real estate goals. It has been fun, and he looks forward to continuing to grow and adapt to the changing real estate market and demands of his clientele. Real Estate is a great business, and Carl truly take pride in being able to help his clients accomplish their goals!
