Our plan was to buy a smaller house in a better location, and then sell our current house. Carlie teamed up with a McEnearney associate to help us - she with the new house; her teammate with the old one. They began by helping ensure that our plan made financial sense. Each then did an outstanding job, and the result was happy.
The plan's first phase, led by Carlie, turned out to be the more difficult. Despite her patience and thorough knowledge of the area, good choices were few. Her expertise saved us several times. We were interested here and there, but she spotted flaws. Putting our interests foremost, she dissuaded us from bad choices.
Our house hunt took a long time - which delayed the sale of our old house. Carlie realized we weren't looking far enough away. She was right. We explored a new area, loved it, found the right house, bought it and moved. Our old house sold soon after, Carlie having set the stage for it with an exceptional job of understanding our goals.

Carlie was always responsive, efficient, and ready to meet our every need. She drove us all over Northern Virginia looking for "just the right" place. We find that we miss our "field trips" with her, since finding our house. She always had some useful knowledge about the houses we looked at, their owners, and their neighborhoods. Although our requirements made the search a long one, and sometimes tiring, it was through her work and connections that we finally found our "perfect house." Carlie became a dear friend, perhaps because of all the trials and tribulations we went through. She always put her clients before her own needs and comfort.
