When my husband and I were ready to purchase our first home, we were looking forward to working with a close friend that had been a Realtor for over 20 yrs only to find out that she had just deactivated her license. We were disappointed until she introduced us to Carlton. He agreed to meet with us immediately; taking his time while getting to know us, asking all the right questions to help determine what our family needs were. It was not too long after our initial meeting with Carlton that he was on the phone scheduling an appointment to take us out to see the selected choice of properties that he felt would best meet the needs of our family and lifestyle. Of course I had my own list of properties that I pulled from the internet; long story short it was quickly determined that my search of homes lacked all the items my family was looking for in a home in our price range. His list was on point, so we began our tour realizing that Carlton’s knowledge of Frederick County and the various communities was impressive. We were able to find our dream home on or first tour, but Carlton suggested that we select our top three prior to making an offer to purchase on any property. Our experiences with Carlton lead us to refer him to our daughter whom also was able to find a home for her family. We both closed without incident within the periods outlined in the contract. We continue to refer Carlton because he is a man of integrity; he is knowledgeable and well respected by his peers.

Our family has known Carlton for nearly 17 years and we have purchased two homes with his help and expertise. He was with us for our first-ever home purchase in 1996. He took all the stress out of the home buying process. We were so impressed with his honesty, expertise and patience, that we listed that first house with him and acquired his services in looking for our second home. Carlton guided us through the process of looking at many homes and finding exactly what we wanted. His patience never waivered and even in a down market at the time, he helped us sell our original house in only a few weeks while still focusing us on finding the new home we wanted. Carlton makes the process painless and is a wealth of knowledge not only during the home selling/buying process, but for months and years later. He is the only realtor that have felt is also a friend. We still keep in touch with him and value his friendship and advice to this day. Carlton has to be the most honest man I have ever known, he was referred to me by a friend many years ago. I have purchased two homes through Carlton as well as sold three in many different types of economic ups and downs. Carlton has always been truthful about the possible scenarios and somehow always worked out the best case scenario for me. He is my realtor for life! A true gentleman and hard worker!
