Carmen’s passion and entrepreneurial track record across various sectors make her stand out as a “can do” agent. Since she started her career teaching English to Somali refugees in MN and South Koreans in private school, she has a desire to understand people’s unique life situation and help them to overcome obstacles to accomplishing their goals. As a realtor and resident of Cambridge for 10 years, she is committed to wow-ing her clients.

She is creative and relentless. Having lived and worked in 4 different countries on her own, she’s learned how to mix strategy with creativity to help her clients get homes they didn’t think possible and sell when it felt impossible. Her experience with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage pilot team gives the insight to help homeowners navigate the endless questions around homeownership.

She is on your team. She makes clients feel okay asking anything. This is one of the biggest decisions you will make, it can raise all sorts of doubts, hopes, and fears. She is capable of mediating and supporting people, so they don’t have to navigate this on their own. Her work as the Director of the first safe home for survivors of human trafficking in New England gave her firsthand experience dealing with building renovation, complex organizational development, and management.

She lives and breathes “welcome!” She has welcomed hundreds of people for weekly meals in Cambridge for the last 5+ years and loves serving as a bridge to help connect people to build deeper authentic relationships. Whether through her church community at Highrock, or other spaces, she is passionate about helping people to have their own space from which they can invite others in to build community.
