Carol Cotton joined Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty in May 2006, bringing with her over ten years of real estate experience specializing in the Gold Coast of Long Island’s North Shore as an Associate Broker. She had managed a Rental Department as well as worked in the Sales Departments of competing firms where she was consistently named a Top Producer. From June 2010 until recently, she also collaborated with the Director of DGSIR’s Sotheby’s Division, assisting the Upper Tier Marketing Team with customers and clients in the high-end market. Since the start of her real estate career, she had prided herself on continuing her relationships with buyers and sellers. She treated everyone fairly and honestly and personally saw each transaction through to a successful conclusion. Through networking and Daniel Gale’s Sotheby’s affiliation, she had real estate contacts in areas other than her specialty, the Gold Coast of the North Shore of Long Island. Through these networks and referrals from satisfied clients and customers, her real estate practice had grown, and she had gained the respect of her peers. She held the designation of Certified Buyer Representative, which allowed her to represent both buyers and sellers as clients and was also a Graduate of the Realtor Institute. She had served, and continue to serve, on committees for the New York State Association of Realtors, which positioned her to help enact new legislation and updates to the Standards of Practice for Real Estate professionals. She had lived in Locust Valley since 1988 and became highly active in the community. She had served as Vice President of the Board of the Locust Valley Chamber of Commerce and as a Board member of Operation Democracy and had been a Trustee of the Board of Holy Child Academy, was an active member of the Locust Valley Rotary Club and an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at the Church of St. Dominic.
