Carolyn received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Newcomb/Tulane University. She earned the accredited Buyer Representative designation and holds membership in the local and National Association of Realtors and Chamber of Commerce and holds her e-pro designation. She is a former First Vice President of the New Haven Board of Realtors, and holds positions on the Legislative Committee, RPAC Board of Trustees and Chairman of RPAC for the CT Board of Realtors. Carolyn was named "2014 Realtor of the Year.
