About Carolyn

While I am originally a big city girl having grown up in Houston, Texas as well as lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years, I feel truly fortunate to call the mountains home. I have had the privilege of living in these beautiful western North Carolina mountains for the past 23 years. My experience ranges from finance as a loan officer and credit analyst for a small private bank in San Francisco to the development of a residential golf community. In 1995, my husband and I had the opportunity to invest and become developers in a residential community surrounding the Swain County golf course known as Smoky Mountain Country Club. My primary role was in themanagement of the construction and interior finishing of custom homes and condominiums as well as the management of the vacation rentals in the community.

Over a year ago, I transitioned to the sales side of real estate assisting clients with their buying and selling needs in the mountains and I have loved every minute of it. I have two wonderful sons. My older son, Ben is a graduate of Western Carolina University and my younger son, Jack, is currently attending North Carolina State University.
