Carolyn is the best! If you are looking for a great realtor, who is not pushy and is committed to helping you finding the best place for you and your family, she is the person you are looking for. Carolyn is truly the reason we were able to get into our forever home. Even with some hiccups along the way, Carolyn was professional and did a great job of keeping us informed along the way.

She was our buyer’s agent and the entire process went incredibly smoothly. She’s very organized, always punctual, incredibly friendly, listens to—and remembers—everything you say, and will spend as much or as little time as you want discussing any specific document or part of the process to ensure you feel comfortable. You quickly feel like you’ve known her for years.

Having grown up in her service area, she also has a ton of knowledge about both the real estate and the surrounding culture, activities, and nature. When organizing home tours she included recommendations for restaurants, parks, and shops to help give us a sense of the broader community.

We would ABSOLUTELY work with her again and if she chooses you as a client, know you’re in great hands.

Carolyn far exceeded our expectations. My previous realtor moved out of state so I hopped on Yelp looking for a new, local realtor. Carolyn came up with very good reviews, so what did we have to loose? Well we only gained with Carolyn. Carolyn was very professional, extremely proactive, and a wealth of knowledge from her many years of experience. We have high standards for communication and Carolyn was exceptional. We were under pressure for a very tight turn-around as we were moving out of state and Carolyn walked us through each step with ease and was able to coordinate very timely meeting and inspections. From beginning to end, Carolyn did a fantastic job and I would recommend her very very highly!

My wife's review: "Hire Carolyn. Full stop."

My review: Carolyn helped my wife and I buy a great house for list price during a seller's market in the middle of the COVID pandemic when it was common to pay well over list price. She took the time to go over the terms of the offer with us and made sure every detail was just right. The seller accepted our offer despite having another offer for the same price but with more money down. We initially wanted to offer less, but we took Carolyn's advice and offered list price. If we had offered less, the seller would probably have rejected our offer. If we had offered more, we would have overpaid. Carolyn's advice was just right.

Carolyn showed us eleven homes, some after only a few hours notice. During showings she would point out any repairs or maintenance that needed to be done, from minor issues like a mismatched light shade or a worn wall outlet to potentially major issues like water damage, mold, and possible pest activity. She saved us several times from buying a house that looked good initially but would have needed expensive repairs.

Carolyn was representing several other clients at the same time as us, but she treated us like we were her only clients. She spent hours explaining the home buying process to us and learning what we were looking for. She turned on a dime when our preferences changed from houses to condos and back to houses again. She never pressured us and she always had time for us. She clearly loves what she does and has her client's best interests at heart. You can't go wrong with Carolyn.

Carolyn is THE BEST realtor we could've hoped for! When we first met with her she assured us that she wasn't out to just put us in the first house we came across, and is more about choosing the right client for the market. She 100% delivered on this promise after sticking with us for several weeks as we toured house after house not quite finding the one we loved. She made herself available whenever we needed, stuck with us through the escrow process and even accompanied us to the final signing! For real, look no further than Carolyn Nolan. You will be in excellent hands.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Carolyn to purchase our dream home in Placerville and we could not be happier!

Buying a home is by far the biggest purchase of your life and you need someone reliable, knowledgeable, communicative, and supportive throughout the process. Carolyn provided all of that during the time we worked together, and we will always be appreciative of her guidance and professionalism.

I recently bought a house and used Carolyn as my realtor. I actually found her using Yelp and since she was well respected and treated her clients well, I thought I would try her out. It was one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. Carolyn treated me like I was family, and was very protective to make sure I didn't get into a house that didn't really fit my needs. She listened carefully every single time we communicated and turned that information into how best she could make the situation for me. We ended up having an extremely challenging situation, but absolutely nothing to do with Carolyn. On the contrary, she dealt with the challenges, and made it very easy on me. She worked hard to make things work between me and the seller. She was in constant communication with their realtor. Carolyn helped me with all of the inspections needed, and she was there every step of the way with me. I looked to her for advice and direction. When there was something I was firm on, she understood and never tried to talk me out of anything, but would always give me her insight and advice. It was an absolute pleasure working with Carolyn. I will always use her in the future and would recommend her to take care of my family members, as well. You can't get a better realtor.

We sold and bought a house with Carolyn. She was quick to answer e-mails and text messages. Our house sold while we were looking for a new house. The houses that we liked were ones that had listed the same day. Our offer on a second house was accepted the same day after the house was listed, and we closed escrow on both our sale and purchase in 30 days.The inspectors she uses are informative and friendly. There is a lot of paper work and e-signing was convenient and fast because Carolyn has a very efficient office assistant.We really like our new house.Thank you Carolyn.
