Carrie Brand

Carrie Brand was raised on a sheep farm on the Canadian prairies. Yes, she likes hockey, and yes, she says “eh” from time to time! From a young age she knew she wanted to be a teacher…but where? Her adventuresome spirit led her to Chicago where she taught PE and coached volleyball and eventually met her husband, Nathan. They moved to Nebraska and became a family of 5. She stayed home with their 3 preschool girls but kept a finger in sports by assistant-directing triathlons, and in education as an Early Childhood Screener once they moved to Rochester. She always knew her second ‘career’ would be in Real Estate. In January of 2015 that dream became a reality and she feels privileged to be doing what she loves! When the Brand family is not in the bleachers cheering kids on, they love to participate in sports, invest in their church family, and go camping. With 3 girls, their house constantly smells like nail polish and if she had a penny for every bobby pin, she found in the carpet she would be a gazillionaire. She loves (her husband says ‘needs’) coffee and she hates tangled Christmas lights. She would rather mow the grass than be in the kitchen. There is much more but at the end of the day she wants to be a supportive wife and mom and serve the people that cross her path well.
