She opted to get into the field of radio and television broadcasting and worked for such stations as WSOC News Radio, WTSB, Lumberton, NC, WSJF, Savannah, GA, and WYAV-104, Myrtle Beach, WIWF, Sunny 96.9 Charleston SC, She lived in Charleston, obtaining her Brokers license there and worked for Coldwell Banker and Prudential Carolina real estate in Charleston SC from 1998 to 2005.
Having moved back to her hometown of Charlotte in 2005, she worked with Uptown Charlotte Properties and then with My Townhome since 2007.
