About Catherine
Graduating in 1995 with a degree in Economics from University of Maryland, she began her career in Investment Banking with Montgomery Securities in San Francisco as a Statistical Analyst. After three long years, she went on to spend six years in Financial Software at FactSet Research Systems, between Silicon Valley and New York City, first as a Consultant, then developing the position of Investment Banking Training Manager, training colleagues and clients from California to London.
During this time, Catherine started visiting her sister in Kauai for long vacations from her busy life. Eventually the beauty of islands drew her to give up her career and move to Kauai. Upon arrival, she took her first sales job pounding the pavement sellling architectural coatings, a.k.a. "house paint", for PPG Industries. In the first 10 years on Kauai, Catherine got married, had a little girl, whom she describes as "the joy of her life and her ‘BIG WHY' ", learned to dance worship hula, and spent eight years with Old Republic Title & Escrow of Hawaii as their Account Executive successfully growing Old Republic's national brand on Kauai. During Catherine's time with Old Republic, she was able to take the company from 8% market share to close to 65% market share, dominating the market. It was then that she realized a passion for training and developing agents to succeed in their careers.
In 2014, Catherine took on the challenge of launching the first and only Keller Williams franchise on the island of Kauai. In one year, she was able to recruit enough agents to be awarded the KW franchise. KW Kauai was launched in March 2016 with 29 agents and within nine months, KW Kauai became the largest brokerage on Kauai, ranking 3rd in number of transactions and 5th in volume. Catherine led the brokerage and its agents for 2 ½ years, building the company, training the agents in building their businesses, and working towards profitability. In a short 15 months, the company profited for the first time. After such huge success in establishing the Keller Williams brand on Kauai, Catherine has made a decision to focus her efforts on her own sphere of influence and assist her clients in achieving their goals and dreams in real estate, here in Kauai and all over the country.
In 2018, Catherine had success in helping many of her clients buy and sell their properties. She ranked in the top 4% in closed number of transactions (ranking 25th) and top 6% (ranking 35th) in closed volume of sales. Catherine's average days on market was 32.6 days and "Sold to List Price" was 99.23% of asking price.
